ABB’s Robotics “Technology Days” to feature seminars and live demonstrations

BRAMPTON, Ontario, Canada (November 18, 2009) – ABB’s Robotics group is organizing “Technology Days” to help current and prospective customers discover first-hand how ABB’s industrial robotic technology will help them improve productivity, product quality, worker safety, while reducing operating costs. Technology Days will feature live demonstrations and a wide selection of in-depth seminars on December 7th and 8th at its Brampton facility.

General and application-specific information will be provided to prospective customers considering their first foray into robotic automation as well as current customers considering an upgrade to their existing robotic lines. ABB engineers and technicians will also be on hand to answer specific questions during the tours.

With the recent signs of a recovering economy, businesses can secure a competitive advantage by implementing ABB’s robotic solutions. In recent years, ABB has significantly expanded its general industrial applications to include packaging, assembly, metal fabrication, arc welding, foundry machining and part tending, plastics machine tending, painting, solar cell and panel manufacturing and stamp press automation solutions.
