We can confirm there was a shooting at our St. Louis, Missouri facility this morning. According to the St.Louis police authorities that 4 people were killed, including the gunman, and 5 were wounded.
This is obviously a very sad day for all of us, and our thoughts and prayers are with our employees and their families. ABB has made arrangements for counseling services to be provided over the coming days and is making certain our people in St. Louis get the support they need.
The St. Louis plant will be closed on Friday to accommodate further police investigation. ABB is working closely with local authorities, and will continue to monitor the situation as it develops.
