2010-07-16 - With quick response from the ABB Drive Service Center, the customer was back up and running within 30 hours.
When Stan Dickerson of Motion Industries,TN called me Tues., June 29th and indicated that ABB customer \"Polyloom Tencate\" had a 1000hp ACS600 drive down, with production shut down and over 100 workers sent home, I knew we had to move fast. The staff here was made aware of the customer's situation and was ready to assist.
The customer hot-shot all three modules from the drive to our service center, which arrived at 7:00AM Wed., June 30th. The service team did all they could to get the 1000hp drive ready. The customer hired a jet, and picked the modules up at Waukesha Airport, 6:30 AM Thurs., July 1st. At the end of the day, the customer was back up and running – inside 30 hours!
